A Production Engineering Manager with proven expertise in aviation, focused on streamlining manufacturing processes, maintaining the highest quality standards, and fostering continuous improvement. Committed to advancing Lufthansa Technik’s excellence in safety, efficiency, and aerospace innovation.
Responsibilities and Tasks including but aren't limited to:
- Organizes, supervises, and leads engineering teams in creating approved data and maintenance instructions for aircraft components and engine parts
- Provides leadership through communication, coaching, training, performance feedback, and development
- Ensures documentation, revisions, and deviations in accordance with authority requirements
- Coordinates technical issues with OEMs, customers, authorities, and internal departments
- Drives competitiveness by fostering innovative engineering solutions
- Actively participates in Lufthansa Technik’s network
- Proactively supports CBU and NPI projects
- Assists purchasing with KPIs and material consumption analysis
- Supports Director of Engineering in managing major projects, including shop expansion

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills,German desirable
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Engineering or Economics
- Professional experience in aircraft, engine, component engineering/maintenance, or material planning preferred
- Good knowledge of production planning, controlling, and value streams
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, SAP)
- Team player with high customer orientation and intercultural competence
- Excellent analytical, planning, flexibility, and decision-making skills
