The Manager Handling is responsible for:

  • Management of handling processes at the stations in the geographical area in compliance with all relevant directives
  • Responsibility for organizing and opening new stations in the geographical area according to related LCAG standard
  • Implementation of regional or local measures meant for the support of the worldwide Handling strategy. Assures continuous process improvements within export and import cargo services in the geographical area
  • Management of necessary interfaces with airport, customs and other relevant external authorities
  • Manages, encourages, guides and evaluates his/her team members, this includes agency staff contracted by LCAG
  • Plans and manages economical utilization of all manpower to maintain defined service standards

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training required
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry
  • Adequate knowledge of LH Cargo’s processes and organization. Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline/ logistics industry structures
  • Fluency in English and Korean language required
  • Advanced professional operations know how and skills in an airline or logistics environment
  • Proficient in MS office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem solving 
  • Excellent responsibility
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Outdoor weather conditions
