You will play an important role in determining causes of maintenance-related incidents to prevent future occurrences. Contributing to hazard identification and safety promotion you will help to foster a safety culture and risk-based decision making within TechOps maintenance environment.
- Conduct investigations, propose recommendations and perform debriefings with line management
- Execute and Improve Safety Management Processes
- In collaboration with Technical Safety Communication, actively initiate safety communications and ensure efficient handling
- Promote and carry out Safety and Just Culture campaigns
- Perform hazard identification and risk assessments, contributing to the Part-145 risk landscape
- Provide follow-up actions and documentation on safety-relevant occurrences and events
- Monitor safety regulations, best practices and industry standards for applicability to TechOps and drive continuous improvement of the Safety Management System
- Liaise with LH Group on specific safety related projects and share best practices

A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and experience in an aviation maintenance environment are key. The role requires high integrity and trustworthiness when dealing with events of sensitive nature.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and evidence
- Background in aviation is a must, preferably in an aircraft maintenance environment (e.g. experience as a holder of an EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License and/or a degree in a related field such as aeronautical engineering or aviation management or similar)
- Solid understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures and aviation regulations
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety and compliance monitoring management
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English
- Team player with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle data with integrity
- Affinity for safety and process-oriented work, with strong decision-making skills and a proactive mindset
