The Account Manager will be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities, among others:

 

  • Manage & develop customer portfolios for selected customer group / territory
  • Prepare contract negotiations & quotations in cooperation with Account Steering
  • Negotiate with existing corporate accounts, agents & TMCs with clear focus on revenue quality and growth of business
  • Arrange, prepare, conduct & document customer visits. Follow up with action plans targeting sales growth & revenue quality
  • Organize & initiate salespromotion activities, incentive & ad-hoc business cases
  • Identify new revenue potential in existing portfolio, act as sales entrepreneur by evaluating and implementing new sales products and programs
  • Implement new distribution solutions for agency or corporate accounts, acting as interface customer-distribution experts
  • Identify new business sales leads and/or potential partnerships
  • Support market & competitor analysis

To thrive in this role, candidates should fulfill a mix of the qualifications listed below:

  • High school certificate, A level/ Abitur or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and distribution with a strong focus on the tourism and aviation industries
  • Proficency in English language required
  • Computer proficiency as user
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent entrepreneurial / commercial mindset
  • Strong ability to manage complexity
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong independent and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) / Interpersonal skills
  • Strong cooperation skills/ team player
  • Excellent professional and confident manner
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must posses a valid work permit in Brazil
