

Regional Controller / Specialist Controlling
As a Regional Controller / Specialist Controlling, you’ll be responsible for cost controlling, FTE monitoring, budgeting and forecasting for selected regions (e.g. Africa, MIA). You’ll support Regional Managers with actionable insights that influence both operational and strategic decisions.

Working time
Full-time (tested according to § 7 TzBfG, part-time excluded)
- Preparing forecasts (costs, revenues, FTE) and analyzing variances
- Supporting budget planning, distribution and analysis
- Conducting cost reviews (e.g. rent, handling services)
- Delivering ad hoc reports and management presentations (Excel & PowerPoint)
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and ICS standards (e.g. accruals, rebookings)
- Collaborating with HR on staff cost/FTE monitoring
- Acting as a business partner to Regional and Station Managers
- Cooperating with global teams (e.g. FRA Controlling, LGBS Delivery, Treasury, PTP)
- Providing back-up support for other regional controllers when needed

Required:
- Proven experience in controlling – especially in cost reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and FTE planning
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
- 2–3 years of experience in finance, controlling or accounting
- Solid knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and advanced Excel skills
- Fluent English (B2+/C1) – written and spoken
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently
Nice to have:
- Experience in international cooperation/stakeholder management
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or similar tools
- Confidence in preparing and presenting insights to senior management
- Understanding of PTP, OTC and RTR processes
