As part of Maintenance & Engineering, the Strategic Purchaser Components supports sourcing strategies for aircraft components, focusing on supplier quality, cost efficiency, and contract management, while aligning with operational and long-term business goals.

Contract and Supplier Management

  • Lead sourcing and contracting for components, APUs, C&E, ARC, wheels & brakes
  • Manage tenders, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and performance
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier and contract management
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships and networks

Procurement and Compliance

  • Translate business needs into sourcing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with LHG policies and aviation regulations
  • Maintain procurement data in line with CAME, MOE, Part-145/M

Financial Planning

  • Support budgeting, cost monitoring, and KPI tracking
  • Implement cost-saving strategies aligned with financial goals

Interface and Coordination

  • Align with stakeholders and LHG entities on strategy
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure procurement efficiency

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience (university level)
  • 5+ years in Procurement/Supply Chain with strong negotiation, legal, and TCO knowledge
  • Deep aviation industry expertise, incl. components, contracts, TAT, repair cycles, and EASA regs
  • Proven project management and multitasking under pressure
  • Strong data analysis, Excel skills, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Solid grasp of financial impacts on the value chain
  • Skilled in supplier relationship management and intercultural communication
  • Advanced negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in English; Dutch/French is a plus
