As the Project Stream Manager Engine Services Operation Readiness, you will take on a diverse set of responsibilities, such as:

  • Independently manage and supervise the procurement of facility management service provides including processes in close cooperation with the production manager
  • Develop improvement plans while ramping up a production place (e.g. optimize processes, initiate local repairs, tool maintenance, as well as production of tools and equipment) within the project in a time and cost-efficient manner
  • Support change, ensure successful transfer and stabilization into routine operation
  • Efficiently communicate with corresponding LHT interfaces or other involved business units
  • Efficiently communicate with local vendors for PPE, consumable and equipment acquisition in respect to LHT internal quality standards and processes
  • Manage risks

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • University degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience in international business environment, project management, particularly in engineering or construction projects
  • Business fluent knowledge of English language
  • Distinct knowledge of project management techniques and tools desirable
  • Technical knowledge in aerospace industry, specifically engine services desirable
  • Good knowledge of risk management principles and best practices desirable
  • PMP or similar certification is desirable
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Willingness to work in Calgary, Canada and abroad
