As an Aircraft Mechanic with us, you’ll:

  • Follow instructions from operational manager and internal processes / procedures
  • Understand and use manufacturer instructions to care for our aircraft
  • Independently inspect and repair aircraft parts, including composites and sheet metal
  • Sign-off related shop documentation after task performance
  • Take technical decisions and actions to ensure economical and on time performance of maintenance task
  • Keep safety and quality top priorities in the shop
  • Support the quality team with improvements and audits
  • Ensure tool care
  • Perform daily housekeeping
  • Keep learning and growing your skills
  • Maintain confidentiality in relation to company issues at all times

The ideal Aircraft Mechanic should meet the following requirements:

  • At least 3 years of MRO experience as a structure mechanic in base maintenance or component shops
  • Knows the basics of human factors and aviation rules
  • Has experience assembling and disassembling components
  • Is comfortable with structure repairs, sheet metal work, and/or hot bonding composite repairs
  • Experience on nacelle components and flight controls repairs is preferable
  • Has a high sense of responsibility
  • Can read and understand technical documents in English (like manuals and instructions, e.g. CMM, SRM, AMM)
  • Is comfortable using computers to access rules, instructions and manuals
  • Can work independently and confidently take ownership of tasks
  • Enjoys collaborating with a team  to ensure progress is made on repair events
  • Handles pressure well and stays focused
  • Is eager to learn and grow their skills
  • Is open to attending trainings, both in the classroom and hands-on
  • Is flexible with working hours and shifts
