The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for:
- All tasks are carried out in accordance with valid technical documentation and IQmove, including updates of technical manuals and use of the technical library to ensure compliance with EASA regulations
- Holds supervisory responsibility over MM1-int qualified mechanics
- Manages maintenance operations and performs all necessary steps to ensure compliance with EASA standards
- Carries out, certifies, and releases maintenance work in accordance with the Practical Logbook
- All tasks are performed following valid technical documentation and IQmove
- All authorizations are recorded in the staff record, which is also part of the technical documentation
- Holds supervisory responsibility over MM-int qualified mechanics
* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- A-level standard of education as well as several years of work experience
- Successfully completed training as a specialist technical worker in an aviation profession or in a related profession for which credits are given towards authorization
- In exceptional cases for overseas stations: aeronautical maintenance training / aviation college (minimum 2 years) / aeronautical degree, military service certificate or equivalent
- EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License – AML A Category Aeroplanes – with Turbine-Engines (A1)
- Successfully passed EASA Part 145 Assessment
- Fluency in English required
- Valid driving license
- Valid passport
- Must possess a legal work permit
