Hybrid Model (remotely & in the office) / Fixed-term contract for 12 months

The Team Leader Inside Sales is responsible for all inside sales activities and ensures premium customer service.  S/he manages implementation, operation and maintenance of all sales channels and leads the Inside Sales Team. S/he supports his/her team in performing active sales in close cooperation with Outside Sales.

Within the operational targets set by the Head of Sales & Handling, the Team Leader Inside Sales performs the following duties:

  • Monitors process compliance as well as service standards set for the Inside Sales Team
  • Manages the customer database regularly according to set standards 
  • Processes customer requests and performs bookings
  • Enters into transportation agreements with customers
  • Actively supports the Outside Sales in the pursuit of new market opportunities
  • Provides customers with all relevant information for his/her business
  • Implements a pro-active sales call plan to actively sell open capacities and/or promote the LCAG products 
  • Participates in outside sales visits
  • Assists in the development and sales of customized logistics transport solutions, and actively promotes special products
  • Reviews  sales data as well as competitor’s analysis with the goal to acquire new customers/business
  • Develops measures to optimize load factors
  • Participates in local sales events
  • Leads the team and ensures premium customer service and total customer satisfaction  
  • Ensures people development

The ideal Team Leader Inside Sales should meet the following requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent business experience, preferably in transportation and logistics industry
  • Proven experience in Cargo, customer service, sales or handling
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills required
  • Knowledge of German language desirable
  • Good knowledge of local market and economy
  • Excellent knowledge of LCAG products
  • Computer literate
