As an Intern you will work at the heart of our Operations with the following tasks:
- Analyze different flight operational subjects like sustainability, efficiency, punctuality, aircraft rotation, flight prioritization, flight path optimization and arrival/departure wave optimization
- Assess and design technical and procedural measures for potential savings with proof of concepts and their validation in collaboration with our Operations Control Center departments (Flight Dispatch and Network Operation Control)
- Data analysis for single or multiple flights using different Flight Data sources for internal and external stakeholders
- Support on-going projects with multiple European and Swiss partners from aviation and industry, e.g. aiming at optimizing arrival sequence in Zurich and assessing more sustainable flight trajectories.

- Workload Specification: For this position, a 100% workload is preferred.
- Master’s students or graduates in Aviation, Engineering or Data Science is of advantage
- Experience in one or more of the following database and programming languages: Python, SQL, C#, Angular
- Knowledge about Flight Operations and associated processes is of advantage
- Self-dependence with very proactive attitude and creativity, able to learn quickly
- Follows an analytical approach and acts as a team player
- Very good spoken and written English skills, German is of advantage
- Very good MS Office skills
