We are looking for you as a theory instructor to teach our future airline pilots with enthusiasm and expertise in “General Navigation”, “Radio Navigation” and “Human Performance & Limitations”. Become part of our training team and actively shape the future of aviation!

  • Introduce prospective airline pilots (incl. ATPL) to the subjects “General Navigation”, “Radio Navigation” and “Human Performance & Limitations”
  • Supervise diploma theses in the “Dipl. Pilot HF/Pilotin HF” program
  • Help shape teaching materials and methods to make training even better
  • Use digital learning methods and drive forward e-learning initiatives
  • Teach practical knowledge for safe flying and precise navigation

Are you an aviation professional with a penchant for imparting knowledge? Perfect! If you have experience in adult education, can convey complex content in an understandable way and enjoy working independently, then climb to new heights with us!

  • Do you have specialist knowledge in “General Navigation”, “Radio Navigation” and “Human Performance” or an ATP/MPL license (valid or expired)? Perfect!
  • Do you have experience in adult education and can communicate complex topics in an understandable way? That's exactly what we need!
  • An SVEB-1 certificate would be great, but is not a must
  • Are you driven by initiative and a goal-oriented mindset? Then you'll fit in with us!
  • Do you speak German and English at C1 level? That's great!
  • Bonus points for experience with learning management systems

About the LAT Switzerland AG

Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland AG (LAT CH), with a total of around 300 employees, is part of the Lufthansa Aviation Training Group. At the LAT Training Center in Zurich-Opfikon, around 8’000 graduates undergo their initial and further training as cockpit and cabin crews every year. This also includes basic pilot training at the European Flight Academy in Zurich (theory) and Grenchen (practice). LAT Switzerland's customers include SWISS, Edelweiss, other airlines as well as Rega and the Swiss Air Force.
