The Process Architect for Aircraft and Engine Components ensures a digital, unimpeded, user-centric and cost-efficient process flow for maintenance and repair operations of the start-up of Lufthansa Technik Portugal in accordance with aviation regulations.

Responsibilities and Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support standardized repair processes for aircraft components with the Production IT Engineer and project team
  • Assist in gathering business requirements for data-driven services using Process and Knowledge Management tool, LeanIX and Jira
  • Troubleshoot and ensure performance, compliance, and reliability of IT systems and hardware
  • Maintain and update dashboards in collaboration with IT providers
  • Document changes and provide user training for self-sufficiency
  • Analyze and improve processes, automating tasks with teams
  • Contribute to innovation and digital solutions in repair maintenance
  • Support projects with operational and administrative tasks

We are seeking an enthusiastic Process Architect to optimize repair processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance operational efficiency and innovation. The role involves driving continuous improvement in the aviation industry.

  • Graduate/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering Business IT, Computer Science
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in business process management or related fields
  • Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills
  • Expertise in requirements engineering, process modeling, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Power Apps, and low-coding tools is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of data modeling, programming (Python, Java, SQL), Cloud technologies (Openshift), and databases use is beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
