The Aircraft Component Technician is responsible for:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, paint, and modify avionics components using advanced techniques and test equipment
  • Read and follow plans, manuals, customer orders, material lists, and guidelines, applying necessary timelines
  • Fulfill installation, repair, and maintenance duties, including project layout, and complete required documentation on time
  • Functionally test assemblies to ensure serviceability
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Develop tools and equipment per OEM specifications
  • Technicians may be assigned to multiple departments based on operational needs

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training desirable
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in electronics, mechanic, aircraft slide, oxygen bottles, and/or oxygen masks, aircraft components desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • FAA A&P Certificate or FAA Repairman certificate desirable
  • Knowledge of MS Office as user
