The Inventory Planning department within the SWISS Technical Division is in charge of guaranteeing availability of aircraft spares to ensure the safe, smooth, timely and cost-effective operation of the SWISS fleet.

The Inventory Planner is in charge of balancing the availability of spares for our different fleets and the underlying multi-million dollar investment.
- Analysis, adaption and execution of stocking policies in line with the current life cycle of the fleet
- ERP data mining to generate optimized re-ordering data
- Generation of what-if scenarios regarding ordering and availability
- Root Cause Analysis for overstock, low stock and stock failures and implementation of remedial actions
- Handling of overstock and surplus sale lists and liaising with external sales partners
- Initial Provisioning review for new products or fleets
- Inventory Planning focal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical, scientific or business field, with theoretical and practical exposure to supply chain processes
- Very good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
