Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Process storage and pulling of a variety of said material
  • Proactively work to resolve discrepancies as they occur
  • Support, cooperate, and communicate with all colleagues, including purchasing staff
  • Physical handling of material
  • Coordinating/Scheduling trucks
  • Oversee inbound/outbound processes for engines
  • Operate equipment as directed
  • Input data in EDP system in keeping with procedures
  • Work with and support customer requirements
  • Perform record-keeping, filing, and tracking of inventory as needed
  • Process documentation according to instructions and procedures
  • Recognize significance of required airworthiness certificates for aircraft material and properly applying associated regulatory requirements
  • Drive company vehicles for delivery/pickups on and around the airport

The ideal Aviation Store Specialist-LTES Lead must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree, vocational training, or bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Experience in aviation logistics in handling aviation material desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Training: DGR certified or the ability to become certified desirable
  • Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook as user
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work shifts, holidays, and/or weekend as necessary
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to lift 70lbs
  • Must be able to obtain authorization to access Airport Security Areas if needed
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
