For the demanding and versatile role of Short-Term Planning Engineer, we are seeking a flexible and committed employee. Among their responsibilities are the planning of maintenance, repair work, and component changes on aircraft within the Swiss Int. Air Lines and Edelweiss Air fleets.

  • Planning all routine and non-routine work in the Maintenance Forecast according to deadlines. 
  • Compiling and verifying work packages for feasibility, aligning the tasks with available capacities and resources. 
  • Coordinating planned aircraft availability to ensure timely execution in collaboration with Operations. 
  • Handover, initiation, and retrieval of production work packages while ensuring the re-planning of unfinished tasks. 
  • Monitoring remaining flight hours or movements for prescribed checks from the maintenance program. 
  • Inputting relevant data into AMOS. 
  • Assisting in projects to enhance processes within the department and with relevant interfaces.

  • Technical basic training. 
  • Several years of practical experience in flight operations (maintenance, overhaul). 
  • Planning experience in aircraft maintenance (production planning, disposition) is advantageous. 
  • Proficient in German and English, both spoken and written. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Computer skills: MS-Office, AMOS (preferred). 
  • Willingness to work shifts (early/late, 365 days).
