Your tasks as Production Planner may include, among others:

  • Monitor and Replenish stock levels of internally and externally processed material in order to meet customers' demands
  • Create Repair Orders for outside processing and coordinate with vendors to ensure contractual turn times and pricing are met
  • Confirm all material was repaired correctly per approved engineering documentation and all certifications follow QA guidelines
  • Track and analyze vendor performance based on TAT, cost, and quality of work
  • Calculate and analyze breakdown of Surplus material to determine which LRUs are needed for cost savings solutions
  • Compile and review all necessary information to complete a cost advice to determine feasibility of repair of selected components

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • At least 1 year work experience with component maintenance or in an aerospace engineering environment; particularly in Overhaul Production with document requirements for processing components through a repair / overhaul cycle required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Knowledge in aviation and aircraft component repair required
  • MS Office skills as user
  • Excellent cost consciousness
