Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Strategically develop the assigned products in alignment with the overall strategy of Lufthansa Technik in the Americas
  • Define the overall guidelines around the product, incl. product features, calculation premises, business plan template. Train and assist Product Sales and Account Management in offering the product to the customer
  • Develop new product features and create go-to-market strategy in alignment with regional and global sales organizations
  • Drive digitalization of assigned product/portfolio
  • Support ongoing sales projects by finding ad-hoc solutions for any product-specific needs that may come up during the tender process
  • Align and share best practices with other product managers across all regions

The ideal Product Manager must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree desirable
  • 2 years of experience in product management and/or product development required
  • 3 years of experience in aviation and/or aviation maintenance sector desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint as expert
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize different product development ideas
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Responsible of budget: costs and revenue
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
