Your tasks as Senior Aircraft Engine Mechanic may include, among others:

  • Maintain, service and repair of engines (professionally and on time) within the scope of the qual. / auth. provided for this purpose (hands-on mechanical tasks) in shop as well as on wing and on-site
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties
  • Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Detects errors and correct through proper departmental changes
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications: 

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 3 years of aircraft jet engine mechanic experience required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German and French language desirable
  • CFM 56-7B, LEAP-1B desirable
  • MS Office as user
