Take off into the world of MRO procurement! In this internship, you will support the Lufthansa Group in optimizing procurement strategies for MRO procurement. Gain hands-on experience in supplier management, KPI analysis, and strategic sourcing—helping to enhance efficiency & cost-effectiveness.

  • Assist in the development of MRO procurement strategies
  • Support supplier management and negotiations for Component Maintenance
  • Analyze cost, quality, and availability KPIs for procurement optimization
  • Conduct benchmarking across Lufthansa Group airlines and external markets
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance procurement efficiency
  • Support long-term planning for supplier contracts and service levels
  • Develop and optimize digital tools and processes to improve procurement efficiency
    - Assist in tender projects, including supplier evaluation, bid analysis, and contract preparation

The start of the internship is scheduled to start for april 2025 for 6 months. The internship will be remunerated.

You should bring the following with you for an internship with us:

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering, business, or related degree program
  • You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
  • Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data
  • Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ideally knowledge of Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Interest in procurement, supplier management, fleet management and MRO processes
  • Proficiency in English and German, with strong communication skills
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Team player with a keen interest in aviation and technical services
