Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Technical advice for customer service
  • Determine new requirements when creating work-scopes for customers and arrange for workshop compliant working documents
  • Monitoring and assessing the operating behavior and results (technical and operational) of engines, modules, components and individual parts
  • Cooperation with external WT departments such as flight operations, aircraft maintenance/overhaul, manufacturers, other airlines and customers in a supportive capacity
  • Act as the central contact point for the individual production support units (PU) of an engine model and perform technical coordination
  • Create "Released by" certificate as design engineer for the transferred CRAS motor sample
  • Take on special tasks, work on or manage projects

The ideal Customer Support Engineer must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in the field of aircraft or engine construction required
  • 3-5 years of experience engineering on commercial aircraft engine types desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German and other language desirable
  • MS Office skills as user
  • Excellent business sense
  • Excellent detail oriented

  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
