The Business Development Executive is responsible for:

  • Achieves sales budget targets for assigned accounts
  • Creates rate offers, with and without guarantee of transportation
  • Enters into transportation agreements with customers
  • Identifies and manages opportunities with existing customers to negotiate new long-term, profitable business
  • Acquires new customers and identifies new business using Lufthansa Cargo sales tools and external sources
  • Performs market and account analysis, developing action plans with Inside Sales and Commercial Team
  • Organizes and conducts sales visits, presentations, and customer events
  • Manages capacity agreements like Long-Term Contracts in coordination with Revenue Management
  • Develops and sells customer-oriented logistic solutions with Handling and Inside Sales teams

The ideal Business Development Executive should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
  • 2–3 years of experience in cargo operations, preferably with a background in sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus
  • Advanced IT skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Hong Kong
