As a DATA SCIENTIST, I am a key player in delivering real impact in digitizing the travel many of numerous clients of the Lufthansa Group. I develop cloud-based data products for our Feature Teams and steer them towards optimal solutions to develop the next era of digitally enhanced travelling. 

  • I will collaborate with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines for ML models  
  • I will provide and generate new insights from complex data sets by applying advanced analytical methods to lift the digital customer experience to the next level 
  • I will research and experiment with new new ML/GenAI models for business applications. 
  • I collaborate with the Digital Hangar product teams to identify possibilities for improvement and adaptions regarding their digital products 
  • I will design, implement, and maintain MLOps pipelines on Azure Machine Learning for model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. 
  • I will automate ML workflows using Azure ML, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and Docker/Kubernetes.

  • I have at least 3 years of experience in Data Science & MLOps, preferably in a production environment
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning methods, including hands-on experience
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python and relevant data science libraries ( SciKit-Learn, PyTorch, PySpark. etc.) as well as model deployment strategies (APIs, batch scoring, serverless ML, etc.).
  • Ambition to master and not being intimidated by unstructured data and large datasets
  • Willingness to expand my comfort zone by sometimes leaving it
  • Very good command of English language
