Tasks
We are seeking a skilled Security Operations Support Specialist to provide critical operational support for Security Information and Event Management system.
In this role, you will coordinate with various teams, resolve system issues, and ensure smooth operations for log sources and related systems.
- Manage ticket processes using systems such as ServiceNow (SNOW) and Jira (trackSpace).
- Coordinate between different teams, including service owners, application operations, and business units.
- Work with teams for efficient and fast resolution of log source and Splunk agent impairments.
- Help investigate and prevent recurring issues.
- Track and monitor active, inactive, or outdated log sources.
- Supporting root cause analysis to avoid similar log source impairments within the future.
- Maintain accurate documentation of log sources in platforms such as Confluence and docSpace.
- Assist with escalations and patching processes.
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- University Degree in ICT related fields
- Hands-on experience in SIEM systems and ticket management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Familiarity with Splunk or similar SIEM tools.
- Active Directory Scanning and work station / user end devices scanning
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Knowledge in documentation platforms such as Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
