Your new team provides reliable, secure and customer centric IT Operations. Coordination and steering will be one of your main tasks when operating your application portfolio. Delegation and escalation are sometimes required to drive things forward and solve issues.
Your main tasks are:
- Keep overview of systems, processes, and infrastructure in a multi-provider setup.
- Look for continuous improvement.
- Anticipate and track operational risks and provide solutions.
- Manage day-to-day IT Ops business: coordinate IT operational tasks (incidents, problems, vulnerabilities), changes and releases with internal IT colleagues, providers, and business users.
- Collaborate and consult in projects with focus on ITCM, observability, and a smooth transition into operations.
- Perform administrative tasks like costs control and manage contracts, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal business users and external providers.
- Keep current with industry regulations and emerging technologies.
- Multiple one-week on-call shifts distributed across the year.

You are an experienced operations professional who is used to manage and coordinate. Your enthusiasm and skills will be an essential contribution to our journey towards an even higher IT Operations maturity level.
- Tertiary- or university degree in IT, Business and Information Systems Engineering or work experience.
- Solid know-how and experience in basic infrastructure, client/server technologies, databases, webservices, Windows Services, Cloud and IT Security.
- Basic know-how and experience in observability.
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible, able to work independently and under pressure.
- ITIL V3 or V4 foundation.
- Strong team player.
