In this role, you'll support our operations planning and steering teams and other Lufthansa Group airlines. You'll bring in-depth knowledge of crew systems and processes to enhance all layers of the crew planning operation as part of an agile product team.
- Design airline operations solutions, integrating Jeppesen tools and other aviation-specific systems.
- Create scalable and reliable architectures leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) to support airline operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, workflows, and integration designs.
- Ensure the interoperability of new and existing systems, addressing latency, fault tolerance, and high availability.
- Support the migration of airline operation systems to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to critical processes.
- Define and enforce cloud governance practices, including cost optimization, security, and compliance.

We’re looking for an experienced individual with strong Linux system administration skills, cloud platform expertise (Azure, GCP, AWS), and a background in designing scalable and secure systems. Knowledge of system integration, APIs, and familiarity with Jeppesen tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
- Strong Linux system administration, including scripting and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
- Expertise in system integration, APIs, and application architectures.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Jeppesen tools (e.g., Crew Pairing, Rostering) and RAVE language is a plus.
- Experience in aviation or complex domains is desirable.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
