The Air Cargo Supervisor is responsible for:

  • Supports the implementation of local/regional operations business plan and worldwide handling strategy
  • Monitors operational performance for LCAG products
  • Develops process improvements in export/import cargo services
  • Ensures subcontractor performance and requests corrective actions
  • Manages warehouse installations, stock keeping, DGR compliance, and TSA/FAA regulations
  • Issues communication related to imports/exports and special products
  • Optimizes the means of communication between local units & key interfaces
  • Leads the team and ensures employee development and safety
  • Oversees export/import operations and ramp handling for JFK, ensuring security and compliance with TSA, CBP, and Port Authority regulations

The ideal Air Cargo Supervisor should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • University Degree or equivalent higher education diploma
  • 3-6 years of experience at export and import warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of warehouse and logistics management
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Computer skills as user
  • Excellent problem solving
