  • Main contact for Finance in the region; collaborate with Project and Key Account Managers.
  • Handle local closings, audits, compliance, and accounting guidelines.
  • Act as Tax Custodian, managing local tax requirements, declarations, and Corporate Tax coordination.
  • Lead the future Head of the Egyptian entity of Lufthansa Group Business Services (LGBS).
  • Ensure quality management & ICS (Internal Control System) for Finance processes, maintaining issue logs and following up on ICS findings.
  • Manage treasury activities, consulting new LHG companies on cash/banking and foreign exchange risks pre-market entry.
  • Act as an interface between LHG companies and Corporate Tax Department, managing tax audits, litigation, and local tax consultants.
  • Oversee regional financial services processes (P2P, O2C), driving smooth operations.
  • Foster continuous improvement and cross-BU collaboration, maintaining knowledge management per LH Group standards.
  • Support central and regional projects as needed.

  • Education: High school certificate required; Master’s or Bachelor’s with vocational training in Finance, Legal, or Business Admin preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years in Finance management or 3-year vocational training with 2-year qualification, 7+ years in Finance. Cross-regional MENA experience essential
  • Technical Competencies: Fluent in English and Arabic (written/spoken), strong MS-Office skills, SAP knowledge desirable
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of fiscal law, local tax compliance, and regulatory regulations. Strong negotiation, diplomacy, communication skills, and intercultural competence
  • Personal Competencies: Independence, interpersonal skills, corporate awareness, reliability, teamwork, and customer orientation
  • Skills: Systematic, goal-oriented approach, ability to prioritize and handle complex issues, numeracy, and team instruction capability
