Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Generation of customized cost models for the repair services of Lufthansa Technik
  • Further develop and optimize existing calculation processes in alignment with the existing process centers
  • Provide data analysis support to the Lufthansa Technik sales and fulfillment teams in all regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC)
  • Support all Segment Aircraft Component Services sales activities through a combination of statistical analysis and data modeling
  • Close cooperation with the existing SCM Bid Team to ensure accurate documentation of customized cost and price models
  • Regularly update cost calculations based on historical events and provide pricing for ad hoc bids from Fulfillment
  • Work in various ERP systems, SQL, R, and other data analytical tools

If you want to be the next Technical Cost Analyst, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Basic knowledge of the aviation aftermarket business; knowledge of process optimization techniques (e.g. LEAN), performance dialogues and key performance indicators desirable
  • Knowledge in Statistics and predictive analytics/business analysis desirable
  • MS Excel, MS Access, Word & PowerPoint, SAP, SQL, R. as expert
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent adaptability
  • Excellent commitment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Shift work / overtime
