As the Security, Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator, you will perform the following duties: 

  • Interface and ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal environmental and safety regulations including permits and related issues
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security policies, plans, and procedures
  • Interface with various regulatory agencies while hosting, documenting, responding to and tracking audits, and inspections
  • Conduct training on general security, safety, fire hazards, and occupational incident prevention. Plan, develop, and implement safety and security training for new employee orientation, and recurrent programs. This to include working with management on an employee personal protective equipment program
  • Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in security and safety regulations, laws or reporting requirements

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications: 

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree desirable
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge in manufacturing/industrial environment required
  • HAZWOPR 40hour certification, OSHA 10, SERP Basic Familiar with 49 CFR, DOT HM181, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO45001 desirable
  • MS Office as user
