The Duty Manager is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Acting as customer care ambassador if assigned by Station Manager
  • Being present frontline, wearing a LHG uniform,and monitoring performance of all suppliers involved
  • Establishing & maintaining operational readiness & compliant handling for designated remote stations as well as alternate airports
  • Regular travel to assigned remote stations for turnaround-checks & quality meetings with our service partners
  • Fostering quality awareness & high service attitude in daily work
  • Intervening in case of shortcomings & ensuring that service basics are adhered to by all providers
  • Following Safety Management System requirements of the respective operators
  • Reporting operational irregularities according to the operator's manuals
  • Being accesible for operational requirements

The ideal Duty Manager should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree desirable
  • Very experienced in ground operations, minimum 3 years
  • Fluent Greek and English required
  • German desirable
  • Knowledge of airport procedures & processes
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Psychological assessment may be required
  • Must be willing to work shifts
