The Station Engineer is responsible for:

  • Perform & certify maintenance work on condition of a Type Rating according to ATA Spec. 104 Level 3
  • All tasks are performed in accordance with valid technical documentation and IQMOVE including revisions of technical documentations / the technical library to assure conformity with EASA regulations
  • Manage the maintenance operation & assure the operation according to EASA standards
  • Supervise all technical & operational aspects at the station & coordinates the work routines with internal & external parties
  • Manage technical handling & coordinates flights allocated to the shift with the aim to ensure safety, punctuality
  • Perform the budget planning & control for the respective cost centre in cooperation with the respective regional management

The ideal Station Engineer should meet the following requirements:

  • A-level standard of education as well as several years of work experience
  • EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance license – AML – Category Aeroplanes – with Turbine-Engines(B1.1) or
  • National release to service authorization or national license in accordance with ICAO Annex 1, equivalent to EASA Part 66 CAT B 1.1 for - MEC
  • Evidence of participation in a “human factors” training course, equivalent to EASA Part 66 Module 9
  • Evidence of participation in a training course on aviation laws (national and EASA), equivalent to EASA Part 66
  • Maintenance mechanic 1 or 2
  • Successful completion of a workplace assessment
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Suitability for shift work
