Internship in Network Management (Limited to 6 months, 80-100%, all genders)
The Network Management department is responsible for the strategic development and optimization of SWISS route network. In addition, the department, embedded within the Lufthansa Group, monitors the overall network profitability and other KPIs such as fleet productivity, cost and revenue development, market trends, etc.

- Support of various projects in network and fleet planning,
- Network-related coordination amongst Lufthansa Group hub airlines and with other departments within SWISS,
- Following familiarization phase, takeover of own, independent sub-projects,
- Creation of quantitative ad-hoc analyses, network key performance indicators (KPIs) and market reports,
- Creation of recurrent network reports,
- Active participation in various monthly review meetings (route profitability, fleet wet lease, etc.).

- Workload Specification: For this position, an 100% workload is preferred.
- HF diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s students or graduates in aviation, economics or business administration (HF diploma & Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters),
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and structural thinking skills,
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with the initiative to drive projects forward,
- Proven interest and enthusiasm for the aviation industry,
- Excellent English: additional languages are a plus (e.g.: German),
- Very good MS Office skills with focus on Excel, PowerPoint; additional IT skills are welcome (e.g.: Power BI).
