We continue to grow and are looking for a new member to strengthen our Business Development Team. We are hiring a Senior Business Development Manager (m/f/d) for our headquarters at Frankfurt international airport in Frankfurt am Main. 

  • Drive business development for markets and major customers with a focus on growing heyworld’s global B2C eCommerce presence.
  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities and support the implementation of innovative solutions addressing those needs.
  • Manage major cross-departmental strategic projects to accelerate growth that are directly affecting company-wide roadmaps and goals.
  • Represent heyworld externally at trade fairs and conferences and in front of major internal stakeholders (Board members, Suppliers, ...etc.).
  • Drive product development and management (process design, planning, implementation, go-live, documentation, and continuous improvement).
  • Support the Head of BD in team management/ coaching and reviewing deliverables

  • At least 5+ years in Business Development, ideally in eCommerce, marketplace/seller management, fulfillment, or B2C logistics, with leadership experience in a commercial team. Familiarity with air cargo, handling, or aviation consulting is a plus.
  • Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent in fields like supply chain, logistics, economics, or business administration.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational abilities, and entrepreneurial mindset. Proficient in problem-solving, data analysis, and IT project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum).
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Skilled with analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and statistical software.
