As the Shop Manager, you will perform the following duties:
- Authority and responsibility for supervising persons that perform the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks of the repair stations back shops assigned
- Responsible to assure that the workshop processes control, evaluation of the shop expenses, finances, and development of the operations to meet the needs of the company and to ensure that the shops operation is following all requirements of 14 CFR and manufacturer's recommendations
- Comply with all applicable 14 CFR requirements and manufacturer’s recommendations, the Workshop Manager has delegated responsibility for providing adequate training, equipment, material, and competent personnel, pertinent to maintenance operations of his/her workshop(s)

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:
- Associate degree, Trade Certificate, or relevant job experience or equivalent
- CAT C license for relevant aircraft type desirable
- Experience in a supervising role of 5 years is required
- MRO experience of 8 years (heavy maintenance) is required
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing aircraft projects
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to communicate with intercultural customers effectively and clearly
- Ability to lead, coach, motivate teams and individuals
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong Change management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines
- Flexibility according to workload during the project phases
- Ability to generate new ideas
- Must possess a legal work permit in country of employment
