The Manager Sales & Handling is responsible for:

  • Steering of inside and outside sales reps/teams, e.g. allocation of accounts and performance management
  • Identification and exploitation of growth potential
  • Leading customer interface on local level
  • Responsibility for organizing and opening new stations in the geographical area
  • Implements LCAG’s strategy and plans on the sales and handling side into meaningful activities under the specific local circumstances
  • Steering and controlling of the cost budget as well as proactive initiation of cost-saving measures
  • Collaborate with regional markets BLR & DEL
  • Maximization of earnings and yields
  • Recruiting, managing, motivating and developing subordinate staff

 

* Participate in other duties as assigned

The ideal Manager Sales & Handling should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree / vocational training required
  • Master's degree desirable
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the Airfreight Logistics or Air carrier with at least 4 years of hands-on experience as a team lead, demonstrating the ability to guide, motivate, & manage teams effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline / logistics industry structures
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of local language Marathi & Hindi will beneficial
  • Professional knowledge of Logistics, Airline industry
  • Well versed with Western India air EXIM market
  • Drive for digitalization & DSA exposure
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure
