As Production Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for the operational performance of the Lufthansa Cargo Centre Frankfurt and are the highest manager in the 3-shift operation. Your tasks:

  • Operational control of air freight handling
  • Optimisation of operational processes according to KPI specifications
  • Responsibility for the deployment of employees and resources with the aim of achieving timely and high-quality production
  • Ensuring the execution of all necessary steps in the event of a crisis and taking responsibility for crisis management processes
  • Ensuring a work-supporting flow of communication and information
  • Co-designing processes, collaborating on or leading projects and their operational implementation

  • A-levels and completed vocational training
  • 5 years of professional experience, preferably in air cargo handling areas and at least 2 years of management experience
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
  • Confident demeanour, persuasiveness and assertiveness and very good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and make decisions
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Flexibility and initiative as well as willingness to undergo continuous further training
    ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work in 3 shifts
