 Design the existing and future network of SunExpress and its partner airlines (namely Air Cairo and Electra Airways)

As “Manager Network Planning (m/f/d)”, you will lead the Network Planning team of SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, ensuring to establish a profitable flight program out of the key airports in Turkey as well as identify further network opportunities to widen the existing portfolio

  • Develop and establish new routes and destinations
  • Closely aligning with all Commercial and Operational units to ensure profitability as well as operational feasibility
  • Build close airport relationships to accompany operational and commercial ambitions
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to cope with TRY/EUR parity challenging on our domestic network
  • Be the leader to mitigate our seasonality challenge
  • Monitor booking development and competitor landscape
  • Project work and preparation of board/decision papers

  • Economics or similar University Degree  
  • Minimum 5-year experience with an airline, airport and/or tour operator in business/network development
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Very good number sense, analytical thinking as well as quick-wittedness and the ability to understand complex issues
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Exceptional understanding and knowledge of the global airline industry with focus on Europe
  • Very good MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), but Excel in particular
  • Very good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Very good English speaking and writing skills
  • German language speaking skill favorable
