As the Logistics Solution Manager (Components) you will perform the following duties:
- Design and implement logistic concepts for warehousing and / or transportation in close collaboration with the respective competence centers; establish concepts for the supply and return of materials
- Initiate and support logistic solutions towards warehousing in close collaboration with the respective competence center
- Continuously monitor, review and optimize logistics concepts according to contractual KPIs
- Plan, analysis and validate logistics costs, working towards cost transparency and reduction / analysis shipments relevant to specific performance parameters and initiate corrective actions
- Cooperating with Logistics System Designers in EMEA for worldwide network design and optimization
* Participate in other duties as assigned
The ideal Logistics Solution Manager (Components) should meet the following requirements:
- University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience in a customer relations/client servicing role, preferably in technical customer service/sales or material management in the field of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) or similar technical services
- At least 3 - 5 years logistics control working experience in the aviation MRO business or equivalent experience is advantage
- Excellent spoken and written English language
- Knowledge of German language is advantageous
- Able to travel to Germany and extensively within Asia
