Your main tasks include, among others:

  •  Responsible for coordinating Weight and Balance documentation with LH Global Load Control
  • Maintain daily trip files and station traffic report as well as all aircraft-handling related statistical data
  • Supervision of ramp functions
  • Follow required safety and security procedures in accordance with all company guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Coordination of all phases of aircraft handling, including catering, cleaning, fueling, cargo handling, authorities, crew and passenger boarding/de-boarding as well as pushback and walkout assistance 
  • Carry out any other operational and/or administrative duties reasonably assigned by the superior
  • Regularly check and ensure the adherence to LHG standards and procedures

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 1-3 years of work experience required in aircraft handling
  • Knowledge of passenger handling and gate processes desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German and/or other language desirable
  • Desirable knowledge of airport procedures and processes
  • PC skills including all MS Office programs as user
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Constant time pressure
  • High stress levels
  • Lift up to 70 lbs
  • Outdoor weather conditions
  • Noise pollution
  • Must be willing to work shifts
