You'll play a key role in monitoring safety-critical aircraft and cargo handling processes. Through audits across our global network, you'll ensure adherence to regulatory standards and SWISS requirements, directly contributing to our safety and compliance goals.

  • Independently plan, prepare, and conduct 2-4 day safety, security, and compliance audits within ground and cargo operations across the entire network.
  • Compile audit report, reflecting detected non-compliances, safety issues, overall situation and best practices
  • Ensure adequate corrective actions, based on congruent root cause analysis, are defined by auditee within due time
  • Monitor the proper implementation of corrective actions within the agreed timeframe
  • Perform risk evaluation on all detected non-compliances
  • Train, coach and guide new ground operations and cargo auditors
  • Support back-office tasks within the Ground and Cargo Compliance monitoring program

  • Extensive experience in ground or cargo operations
  • Audit or quality/compliance management experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft handling (load control, security, de-icing, safety, etc.) and/or cargo operations
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 50%)
  • Fluency in German and English (other languages a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand organizational processes
  • Assertive, persuasive personality with natural authority and conflict management skills
  • Excellent communication and intercultural skills
  • Familiarity with aviation legal requirements is an advantage
