As the Customer Engineering Manager, you will perform the following duties:

  • Define and manage technical/engineering strategy of assigned accounts
  • Proactive technical analysis of NFF, low TSI, non-routine and define KPIs for assigned accounts
  • Manage all technical inquiries, being the interface between the customer and LHT engineering
  • Become knowledgeable of, and translate, customer maintenance programs and requirements into LHT processes
  • Regular customer reporting (reliability, rogue, quality, warranty)
  • Prepare and lead technical review meetings with customer (remote and on-site)
  • Present LHT/LTCS (technical) improvements to customers
  • Represent the LHT engineering organization including subsidiaries
  • Work in and with various software systems and company E-tools to research and collect maintenance data

Education

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree desirable

Professional experience required

  • 3-4 years of experience in Aviation MRO Engineering

Languages

  • Fluency in English required
  • Spanish and German desirable

Industry knowledge required

  • Component/System Engineering
  • Sales/Customer Service (MRO)

Expert knowledge desirable

  • General Airworthiness Authority knowledge
  • Air Carrier Maintenance Programs (CAMP)

Computer skills

  • MS Office and SAP as user

Environmental influences or other encumbrances

  • Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to travel

Aviation environment

  • Constant time pressure
