Take on exciting and varied tasks and make a significant contribution to the success of our company. We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect (m/f/d) who will take on the following tasks:

  • Design, development and operation of the Lufthansa Cargo Data Platform architecture, taking into account the innovative data mesh approach
  • Analysis and optimization of the cloud architecture for efficient data processing for reporting and data science applications
  • Development, improvement and assurance of suitable process and information management solutions for Lufthansa Cargo, taking into account the IT strategy and operational requirements
  • Responsibility for coordination and control of applications, process analysis, release management and implementation of test and acceptance concepts
  • Management of or participation in projects in related, divisional or superordinate projects
  • Overseeing both internal and external IT service providers

You are a passionate architect (m/f/d) for Business Intelligence and Analytics and drive innovative BI solutions to bring our company to the next level.

Ideally You have the following skills:

  • Completed university degree in economics, business informatics, natural sciences or engineering or relevant training and professional experience
  • Many years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Azure BI, Big Data, Data Lake or Data Warehouses
  • Experience in DevOps (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Git)
  • Specialist knowledge of relevant IT systems and technologies (e.g. Databricks, Data Factory, Unity Catalog)
  • Experience in working on or managing large projects and in agile methods (Scrum or SAFe)
  • Programming skills in Python, Spark and SQL
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • Result-oriented thinking and acting, confident appearance, decision-making ability
