Your tasks as a Detail Inspector, Quality Control may include, among others:

  • Provides final return to service on components, sub-assemblies and engines
  • Reads and interprets engine manuals, aircraft manuals and work orders to perform required duties
  • Creates and uses necessary inspection documents such as Shop Travelers, Dimensional Insp. Sheets, etc.
  • Use’s precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.) as needed
  • Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements

 

* Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor or Manager

You must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 2+ years of Commercial aviation engine experience preferred
  • Fluency in English language required
  • FAA A&P certification is preferred
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as user
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem solving
  • Excellent quality consciousness
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Shift work / overtime
