The Cabin Maintenance Team is responsible for maintenance of the various of seats on board of all SWISS and Edelweiss aircrafts. You will be comfortable working in shifts. This role works on a 6/4 rota working X2 early shifts 6 days on with 4 days off followed by a late shift again with 6 days on.

During the turnarounds of the aircrafts, you will check and repair the First-, Business and Economy Class seats in compliance with the Flight Safety Guidelines and Maintenance Manuals. As part of our aircraft maintenance team, you will work hand-in-hand with aircraft and cabin mechanics, as well as with the crew.

  • Maintenance and repair work in the aircraft cabin
  • Performing modifications on all cabin seat models
  • Execution of daily / weekly checks
  • Independently troubleshoot and repair first & business class seats
  • Stretcher & crew rest installations
  • Operating and driving special vehicles (after passing driving test)
  • Operation of the trouble shooting vehicle for the elimination of call-in complaints

  • Completed technical vocational training of minimum 3 years
  • Affinity to technical and/or manual labour skillset
  • A keen eye for technical detail and obvious defects
  • Experience in cabin maintenance is an advantage
  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Good handling of IT, AMOS knowledge advantageous
  • Independent, conscientious and innovative thinking and acting
  • High flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts incl. weekends)
  • Driving license category B
