time:matters is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our operations within Malaysia. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive company growth and achieve financial targets in the country
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Lead and manage the local team of sales, and operations professionals
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Collaborate with regional headquarters and t:m group interfaces to share best practices and align on global business strategies
- Manage the country's budget, expenses, and financial performance
- Oversee customer service and support operations to ensure high customer satisfaction

- University Degree (Master’s preferred), i.e. Master & 3 y. or Bachelor & 6 y. work experience
- Proven experience as General Manager or in similar positions
- Demonstrated success of effectively leading change and organizational growth through strategic planning
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills in (English and/or local language(s)
- Demonstrated strong communication skills with high-level and diverse stakeholders
- Flexibility and positive attitude
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office
- Diligent and a good team player
- Good management skills including team management and financial management
- Excellent networking and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in diverse environments
- Comfortable with occasional regional or domestic travel on short notice
