As the Production Order Management Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:

  • Evaluation of and decision making regarding dynBER/BER for Lufthansa Technik events in collaboration with the Component and Production Engineering and realization within SAP and other IT systems
  • Evaluation of and decision making regarding Modifications for LHT events in collaboration with the Component and Production Engineering and realization within SAP and other IT systems
  • Responsible for the buildup of know-how and standards regarding dynBER/BER/modifications in collaboration with the Component and Production Engineering
  • Expedites repair orders and acts as a “expedite desk” for repairs
  • Availability to comply with the specific working time requirements to cover different time zones

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED desirable
  • College degree/vocational training desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in material purchasing and/or aviation industry required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge of LH organization desirable 
  • Ability to represent LH to outside contacts desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of PC applications such as MS Office Package (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as user
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving
  • High flexibility required
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Constant time pressure
  • High stress levels
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
