Your mains tasks include, among others:

  • Developing and updating trade compliance program & policies
  • Ensuring seamless export and import transactions & coordinate with service providers such as customs brokers as well as suppliers, customers, etc.
  • Auditing all export and import related documentation and processes including customs declarations for accuracy and potential compliance gaps and risks
  • Ensuring administrative & regulatory requirements are met
  • Developing and deploying record retention policy for export and import related records as per applicable regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining the integrity & completeness of the compliance program
  • Maximizing corporate efficiency and minimize regulatory risk
  • Interacting with local Customs and applicable authorities involved in trade as needed

If you want to be the next Customs & Export Control Manager you must fulfill the following requirements: 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in local customs and export control compliance including but not limited to import/export regulations, policy and procedure development, customs audit management, duty reductions & recovery programs
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Technical knowledge about aircraft parts
  • Experience with local Customs Tariff/Export classification and Export Control material classifications
  • Professional certifications/licenses such as Customs Broker
  • Experience working directly with Customs and Other Government Agencies
  • Able to travel to Germany and extensively within Asia
