As Manager Airport Charges you are responsible for the planning, negotiation and implementation of all relevant airport charges and fees at the worldwide locations assigned to you, taking into account all legal and economic requirements.

  • Definition and implementation of negotiation strategies for airport fees and charges
  • Creation of transparency regarding fees, development of recommendations for action
  • Supporting the airport approval process, including preparing documents, participating in consultations, commenting on fee applications and communicating and negotiating adjustments with airlines
  • Representation on relevant committees
  • Identification of cost reduction potentials
  • Identification, negotiation and agreement of incentive activities with airport operators, tourism agencies, etc. in accordance with the incentive strategy, contracting and ensuring the implementation of the contracted measures
  • Planning, monitoring and reporting of the budget for the area of responsibility

  • Completed university degree in the field of economics/ engineering/ computer science, law or comparable
  • Several years of relevant professional experience with purchasing processes in regulated industries
  • Experience in business relationships with airports, tourism organizations and/or ATC
  • Strong understanding of air traffic processes
  • Knowledge of the current framework conditions of air traffic, the economic, political and socio-political situation
  • Ideally sales or purchasing experience
  • Cost/benefit awareness
  • Negotiating skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Other foreign languages (French, Italian, Spanish) advantageous
